Our First Toronto Creator Dinner Is Looking for One Wellness Sponsor
Around twenty Toronto creators, one room, one night, and one wellness brand paying for the room and the product. Nobody gets a creator fee, because everyone is there as a guest.
We are running our first creator dinner in Toronto in late September, and we are looking for one wellness brand to sponsor it.
Here is the whole shape of it. Around twenty creators from Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, every one of them over ten thousand followers, sit in one room for a night. Your product is on the table, they open it, they try it, and they talk about it with the person next to them. One brand sponsors the night, and that brand is the only product in the room.
If that sounds like something you want, the short version of what it costs you is the room and enough product for everyone to use, and nothing else.
Why this is the cheapest sponsorship a wellness brand can buy right now
Think about what the normal way costs you.
You find a creator, you negotiate, you send a brief, and a few thousand dollars later you have one post from one person who has never held your product until the box showed up. If you want a second creator, you pay a second fee. The cost of the program grows in a straight line with the number of names on it, which is why most wellness brands we speak to are running two or three creators a quarter and calling it a program. Our creator rate card template walks through the line items if you want to see where the money in a normal booking goes.
The dinner does not work that way. The two real costs are the room and the product, and they do not move whether fifteen people show up or twenty five do.
There is no creator fee attached to any of this, and that is not a negotiating trick, it is because the creators are coming as guests rather than as a booking. Nobody signs anything, nobody is told what to say, and anything they choose to film is theirs to post. So you are not buying content, you are paying for a room where content tends to happen.
That also means we should be honest about the trade. You do not get a guaranteed deliverable count, and if you need to promise your board eighteen posts by a certain date, a booked campaign is the right tool and we will happily build you one instead. What you get here is a much lower number on the invoice and a much better chance of people saying something they actually mean.
Who covers what
We build the creator list and match it against your customer, we send the invites and work the replies, we hold the guest list, we book the room, we run the night, we set up your product, and we follow up with everyone who came so the relationships do not evaporate on the Monday.
The only thing we ask back is that our poster is on the wall, so the room knows who put the evening together.
This is also the part where a wellness brand should be careful with a room full of people about to talk about a health product on camera. Nobody at that dinner is going to check whether a claim about your supplement is one you are allowed to make in Canada, and a creator repeating a line they heard from your founder is still a claim in the regulator's eyes. We brief the room on what can and cannot be said before anyone films, which is the same compliance work we do on paid campaigns, and our guide to the advertising rules creators have to follow in Canada covers the ones that catch wellness brands most often.
Who is in the room
Everyone we invite is a Toronto or Greater Toronto Area creator, and everyone is over ten thousand followers.
We pick around twenty of them for your night, chosen because their audience is already the kind of person who buys what you sell, not because they were easy to reach. We invite a lot more than twenty, since creator reply rates are low and some people say yes and then do not come, so the twenty is the target in the room rather than the size of the send.
The other reason they say yes is each other. Creators in this city do not get many rooms where they are not working, and a night where they meet twenty peers is worth more to most of them than a gifting box, which is exactly why this works without a fee.
The part that outlasts the content
Say the night goes fine and you get a pile of stories and a few reels out of it. That is not really the asset.
The asset is that in October, when you want to book one of those creators properly, you are not a cold email anymore. Your team has met them, they have used the thing, and they know whether they like it. In our experience that changes both the rate you get quoted and how long it takes them to answer, and neither of those is something a gifting list has ever done for a brand.
Being straight, this is our first one
We have not run this before, so nobody can promise you exactly how the night goes, how many people walk in, or how much usable content comes out of it.
What we can tell you is what it costs, which is small, and what happens if it goes badly, which is that you spent less than one creator fee and still had a room of wellness creators using your product for an evening. The downside is capped and the upside is not, and that is a rare enough shape that it is worth trying once.
We do all of this for a living the rest of the time, so if the dinner is not the right fit for you, the same team runs full creator programs for brands in Toronto, finds the creators, checks them, negotiates and manages the whole thing. The dinner is just the cheapest door into it we have ever been able to offer.
If you want the night
One brand gets it, and it is first come.
If you are a wellness brand and this sounds like something you want to put your product in front of, tell us roughly what kind of budget works on your side and we will get on a call and sort out the date, the room and what we put on the table. If you are reading this after the September room is taken, say so anyway and we will hold you for the next one.
Frequently asked
What does it cost a brand to sponsor the Toronto creator dinner?
Two line items, the room for the night and enough product for everyone in the room to open and use. There is no creator fee, no per post fee and no management fee on this one. Booking a single mid sized creator for one sponsored post usually runs into a few thousand dollars on its own, and that buys one post from one person, so a room of about twenty creators for the price of the venue and the product is the cheaper side of the trade.
Do the creators have to post about the sponsor?
No, and that is the point. They are invited as guests, not booked, so nothing is contracted and nothing is scripted by us. What we have seen is that people film what they are genuinely trying, especially when they can compare it against something else with a person sitting next to them, so the honest version is that posting is likely rather than promised.
Who is in the room?
Around twenty creators from Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, every one of them over ten thousand followers, picked because their audience is already the kind of person who buys what the sponsor sells. They are also there to meet each other, which is a large part of why creators say yes to a night like this at all.
Can more than one brand sponsor the night?
No. One brand has the room, because the whole idea falls apart if creators walk in and find four products competing for the same table. If the first dinner works we will run more of them, and there is a queue for the next one.
When is it and where is it?
Late September 2026, in Toronto. The exact date and the room are being locked now, and the sponsor gets a say in both since they are paying for the venue.
