Tactical gear / Subscription box · Early 2026

TacPack

One creator, one sponsored placement, and a subscription that keeps renewing. This is the case for buying a customer once and getting paid on them all year.

01 · The category

Tactical gear is a lane most agencies won’t touch.

Firearms-adjacent and tactical products get flagged on phrasing alone. Ad accounts get pulled, paid targeting is throttled, and a normal ad rarely survives review.

So we skip paid and go where the audience already lives: creators who review this gear for people who actually carry it. When a reviewer their audience trusts shows the box on camera, there is no ad account to ban and no policy to trip. The recommendation is the format.

How we keep it clean

Every creator is vetted for a strike-free posting history in the category, every script is written to describe the product without a claim that trips platform review, and every placement runs on a tracked code so the brand sees exactly which creator produced which sale.

02 · What we ran

The videos we shipped at the start of the year.

We put TacPack in front of tactical and outdoor audiences through creators who review gear as their whole channel. Our hero placement was Vietac, a tactical channel with 270,000 subscribers and an average of over 800,000 views a video, the kind of reviewer whose audience already owns the category. Alongside him we ran the wider campaign below.

03 · The math

Buy the customer once. Get paid all year.

From our hero creator, TacPack booked 66 first orders off a $1,250 placement. That alone lands the campaign at roughly break-even to 2x in the first month.

The real story is what happens next. TacPack is a subscription, so those first buyers do not churn out, they renew. Across the year, that one creator’s 66 customers are worth about $10,000 in tracked revenue, which is roughly 8x the placement cost by the time the subscriptions mature. People do not return the box, they keep it, and they stay.

Month one

66 orders. Break-even to about 2x on a $1,250 placement.

Full year

Renewals compound to roughly $10,000 from the same 66 customers, about 8x.
